Why does the dashboard show zero or very low activity?

Context
You're checking the dashboard and seeing low or zero AV activity. You want to know if something is broken or if there's another explanation.
Answer
Low or zero activity doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong. Here are the most common explanations, in order of likelihood:
The deployment is new. In the first days and weeks after installation, AV traffic at your property may be light. Autonomous vehicle services gradually expand their operating areas. As routes grow to include your property, activity will increase.
The system is working, traffic is genuinely low. The system only logs autonomous vehicles, not regular cars or human-driven rideshare trips. A busy curbside area may still show zero Autolane activity if no AVs have visited.
Technical issues to rule out:
Camera coordinate offset. If GPS coordinates don't match the exact zone, the camera may pick up drive-by vehicles or miss actual arrivals. Contact Autolane to verify coordinates.
Sign orientation. If wind has rotated the sign, the camera's field of view may no longer cover the zone. Autolane can check this remotely.
If you believe the numbers don't match what you're seeing on the ground, email support@goautolane.com and the team will investigate.
